Spectacular lineup as Donald Lawrence joins Choir Masterclass speakers from UK and Europe

We are excited to announce Donald Lawrence to the incredible roster of people who will be joining us at the Choir Masterclass on Saturday 24th April: Karen Gibson. Bazil Meade, Russell Scott, Audrey Mattis, Ken Burton, Anu Omideyi, Tore Aas, John Fisher, Paolo Viana, Lawrence Johnson, Ruth Waldron, Lea Kjeldsen, Lene Nørrelykke and Volney Morgan.

With speakers from Europe (namely Denmark, Italy, Norway and Poland), the United Kingdom and the USA, this masterclass will be a unique gathering of choir leaders and choir directors that you are not going to want to miss seeing and hearing from.

Assistant Event Manager Jack Robson adds, “The Choir Masterclass is truly set to be a rare and momentous event offering the opportunity to hear and learn from an incredibly eclectic array of talent, all who are involved in some of the leading choirs of our day and age. It will be an absolutely incredible occasion to gather so many people together from not only across the UK but also from across Europe and even further afield too!”

And then, to make it even that bit more special for us all here at aStepFWD, the Choir Masterclass comes after we’ve celebrated our 7th anniversary. Over the last years, we have had the privilege of championing and supporting an abundant breadth of diverse talent within the UK Gospel and Christian Music scene, from our nationally independent music chart to featurettes, and now including our Masterclass series.

The Choir Masterclass will provide amazing opportunities to network, learn and grow from some of the best minds around. So don’t delay! Make sure to get your exclusive event access in just 3 easy steps by clicking the Choir Masterclass link

Notes to editors
AStepFWD is a multimedia project sharing music, news and more in a culturally relevant digital environment. The progressive organisation is staffed by volunteers from across the UK and overseas.

AStepFWD powers the monthly UK Christian Chart – the only independent and national charting system in the UK for Christian & Gospel artists.

The UK Christian Chart celebrates 7 years of serving the music scene this March 2021. Throughout this time it has processed over 3000 music submissions from hundreds of Christian and Gospel artists.

A most recent success story saw AStepFWD’s Artist Relief Fund raised over £3000 to support Christian & Gospel music artists who had been affected financially by the Covid-19 pandemic. The artists were very appreciative of the distributed funds.

Proceeds from the Choir Masterclass will go towards supporting the Play It FWD campaign which seeks to increase the reach of UK gospel and contemporary music and media within both Christian and secular spaces.
